This book is amazing. I'm studying for MCAT and I need some clarification on some areas. Plus, I don't need details like the textbook. I can't believe this book is this helpful. It's true, it's very simple and not too detailed, and that exactly why this book is fantastic. DON'T BUY THIS BOOK IF YOU NO CLUE ABOUT ORGANIC. You need to know some basics, and if you do, this book is a MAGIC. It simplifies all those complicated organic non-senses for you so you can solve problems and understand the topics. You have no idea how excited I am right now! I got this book this morning and I'm already almost done studying it. It's so easy to follow the text and apply it on problems and questions. THESE ARE MOSTLY REAL TRICKS THAT YOU NEVER WILL FIGURE THEM OUT IF YOU ARE NOT AN ORGANIC TEACHER/TUTOR. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. Thank you
This book is an excellent ADDITIONAL resource to taking and getting an A in Organic Chemistry. It is really only relevant to Organic Chem I however. It provides tips on when to take Orgo and tips for studying and habits to avoid and to take advantage of. It covers basics that you will need to memorize no matter what and each tip is broken down based on its difficulty. Since every Orgo class is taught in different ways, it would be hard to go chronologically. Rather this book sort of just builds upon what you might have already done. So you'll have to search for whatever topic you want to look for. Make no mistake, this is a supplement to a real class. This could be used for review as well, but without having the basic knowledge down, many of these concepts will remain foreign to you.

Already having some knowledge of organic chemistry this contained even more relevent information neatly outlined with witty comparisons. And yes it is easier to understand if you are truly interested in the subject.

This is a amazing addition to your textbook for organic chemistry. This book will help you score some extra points on exams, and clarify some tricky concepts. In addition to Wade's organic chemistry textbook and workbook, and a molecular model kit, I would highly recommend this. Well worth it.
Love the book. It has been extremely helpful with the homework as well as the test.The author has a website also that I also found helpful. The print is easy to read and I would go back and forth between my text book and this book. It helped to have things translated into something I could easily remember during a test.
Its a simple guide to start out learning a concept. Don't let this be the only study guide you use but it has definitely heple clarify a few points. I didn't really pay attention to the ranking system. This book helped me the most with providing context and background info on top my lecture, TA, Tutor, and other textbooks.
I bought this book as a refresher for all those lost memories from college years I left long ago. The book makes these tiny lessons actually fun and I highly recommend it. Whether it is for work or preparing for a test, this is a great purchase.
